Yesterday was the semi-annual Open House at Dog Guides. I have been volunteering for over 4 years and have only ever missed one Open House. It is always a fun day and a good way to educate the public. Some residents don't even know that they have a guide dog training school just down the road. The day consists of tours, starting with the 4 service dog programs (Canine Vision, Special Skills, Sezure Alert and Hearing Ear) and finishing off with the best part- of course the puppies! It wasn't as nice of a day as it could have been, but quite a few people came none the less and I'm sure we recruited atleast a few foster familes, which is always a plus! Now for some pictures :) In no particular order thanks to Blogger!!!!
P.S. The ride home and back was interesting as well. We had 1 retired guide, one CC, my 2 foster puppies, plus 2 foster puppies being puppysat. Not to mention that there were 3 people and it was a TINY car. So for the record, yes, half a dozen dogs and 3 people can fit in a sunfire for a 2 hour drive! Oh plus the trunk enedd up with bags of food.
Chomp. Kongo can fit Bea's whole head in his mouth. Don't worry, he was being gentle.
Bea loves her big brother. She especially enjoys cuddling with him in the cold weather!
As close as she can get! At one point she was actually lying on TOP oif him!
Miss Kanga. Kongo was happy to see his sister. She went home Wednesday and I miss her already! 2 foster puppies is a bit more managabl though!

My handsome man- We got the news from the puppy manager that I will definately have my boy until after Christmas! Awesome!

Your pups are definitely the cutest haha ;) Good luck to Viola and Vienna, I LOVE the names!!!
Ugg, i think it's been like 2 years since I've been to an open house. I was SOOOO close to making this one too, but then I ended up having to go visit a miniature donkey farm ... long story. :P
All the pups are so cute!(Yours are defiantly the cutest though!)
