Happy Christmas Eve!

Well Winter, Chloe, Pepper, Buddy and I want to wish everyone in the blogging comunity a very merry Christmas. I have attached a few photos of the "P" litter at 2 weeks old. (There should be new puppy pics every Saturday since I usually get the pictures on Friday). A bit of Winter news...we made a trip to the vet's this morning since she has been peeing in the house (she hasn't done that in over a month) and in her crate (she had NEVER EVER done that, even as a 9 week old puppy!). She has been in heat since the 7th so we were hoping that it was just due to that, but it turns out the heat was just covering up the earlier sympoms (since exessive whining, blood in the urine, and accidents go along with both). After a urinalisis, it seems we are back at square one (she had "puppy vaginitis" for about 4 months. Here's a good link as to what that is: http://www.showdogsupersite.com/kenlclub/breedvet/puppyvaginitis.html The vet agreed with me that she IS is heat but diagnosed her with hematuria (bloody urine) and a bladder infection plus there is evidence of crystals. She has just started 2 weeks of treatment and is to go back to the vets in 3 weeks. He has also mentioned that might be able to put Winter in the "Guiness Book Of World Records" for the longest heat in a dog. He mentioned that she was only in the FIRST stage (of three, each usually lasting about a week) after 18 days! Omg! Good to know! Things are pretty hectic around here. Good thing we are having a calm Christmas with no visitors. We are also puppysitting my uncles poodle. He is a neutered male, but neither he nor Winter seem to care about that! So they have been kept seperate and whine to see each other. Anyways, I am managing to stay cheery and I hope every else is as well! Merry Christmas All the puppies.
